~ I have been meaning for years to start a blog for family and friends to visit to see what we are up to. Finally, we have something going! It's not the prettiest, but at least it will give you a chance to see some pics and hear what's going on with us! It's fun, so I'm sure we'll be posting things often! ~
Greg and I have been using every free moment we have to get outside and plant the plants we got for an area around our beautiful Crape Myrtle! Of course it takes us twice as long to do any landscaping because Holden wants to help! He is so cute! He strutted around without a shirt on a few days ago since Greg had his off, and he thought he was such a man! I was "busy" sitting with Rhys in the shade taking pictures of everyone! Ha! That's not typical though. I'm usually out there during nap times and evenings either planting or watering. We're determined to finish our front yard soon in order to start on the back. It's just been so crazy hot and humid here that we have not been able to get outside as much as we would like to.
We can't wait until the weather gets cooler. October is nice here in North Carolina at that time. It's still warm, but cool at night. Holden is excited about Halloween already, as he still remembers everything about last year. He has said that he wants to be Buzz Lightyear and that Rhys is going to be Woody! I love this idea and already have ideas where to find the costumes and how to make some of it. Now we just have to talk Chase into being Andy...
