Here are "The Decorations" I worked so hard on. I decided to take pictures so it's faster to put them up this coming Christmas! How's that for preparation? I have no idea why we didn't take a picture of the Christmas tree, but I will make sure of it this year!

This was our 3rd visit to see Santa at the Cotton Exchange downtown in Wilmington. He is absolutely wonderful...he is THE Santa and always makes you leave having chills. We have had to explain to the boys that other Santa's are just "helpers" and this guy is the real deal. And I'm not kidding. Even Nana got tears in her eyes. He talked with the boys for at least 10 minutes, maybe more, about how their year has been, what they would like for Christmas, and with mention of the most important thing to remember, that it is Jesus's birthday.
Chase knows Santa here well and walked up quickly, but shyly. I love this picture as Santa takes his hand. He asked for a "PS3 and video games."
Holden took a little bit to get warmed up to him, but got the courage to sit in his lap after a few minutes and loved telling him that he wanted a "Lego Bumblebee from Transformers and a Lego Optimus Prime from Transformers."
Rhys wasn't so enthused about sitting in Santa's lap here, but did actually calm down a bit as Santa talked to him. He did say clearly that he wanted a "big hammer." Ha!
We didn't get a great picture with all of them smiling, but I think I like the pictures of them interacting with him best anyway.
Holden had a Christmas party at school and they did a skit and had a party. Holden is the wise man to the far left!
Holden and his friend, Samantha.
We went to the candlelight service at church and then came home and decorated cookies for Santa!
Rhys worked so hard!
Chase's creation!
Holden is concentrating very hard!
Here is our Santa plate ready to be put on the mantel with milk and notes to Santa. Of course we always put out carrots for the reindeer, too!
I am sorry to say that we did not get pictures of Christmas morning. Just a little bit of video and that's it! I don't know why, as we always do get a few pictures! Next Christmas...
To end...
I love this picture of Rhys asleep on Nana. He clung to her the whole time she was visiting and even cried for her in the middle of the night when she left. He is definitely in love!
Coming up, our Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium trip!

I just love looking at your Christmas pics. The little play looks so fun and those cookies so yummy.
