WonderFall

The humidity is gone and in it's place are cool fall mornings. There are pumpkins for sale, decorating stores and restaurants, and adorned with mums and pansies. Plans of Halloween are starting to be made and kids are gearing up for Trick or Treating...

As I've already stated, we love this season. With the boys in school, I have had the pleasure of planting pots and our window boxes with fall flowers.

In celebration of the season, I've also become addicted to making pumpkin butter and spoiled us with Pumpkin Lattes. Really- these are such simple and wonderful recipes...

I've blogged about the pumpkin patch already, but the other day I was able to get more pictures before I got the boys from school. They have really loved coming here almost every day after school! It's a magical place here among the large oak trees.

And here...Holden begged me to rake our front yard leaves into a pile so he and Rhys could jump into them! Ha! This is the saddest, most pathetic pile of leaves ever, but they LOVED it! That's what we get for living in North Carolina! As you can see, our trees' leaves went straight from green to brown! We can't wait for our trip to Blacksburg, VA at the end of the month to hopefully spot some colorful leaves!

Hope you're having as great of a fall season as we are!!
